How long have I been building? Since I had hair, 1985 to be more exact.
I was raised in the building business watching my Father build thousand's of homes in the Chicago area. After graduating in 1975 from Lewis University, I left Chicago for Los Angeles in 1979 and worked as a Journeyman carpenter and Foreman until 1985, when I obtained my California B1 license and started my first custom home for Rich and Donna Scott. Since then, I have been building large custom homes in Temecula CA, Elizabeth CO, and now Pueblo.
I have a long history of building only high quality homes, which have always been ahead of the Energy Codes, and several steps above the Building codes.
The first time I saw the very first AutoCad desktop computer was 1986 (after our government forced IBM, Big Blue, to give up their computer monopoly). I couldn't wait to get my hands on this new technology. I had to learn DOS and how to deal with Windows 3.0 blue screens, but the effort has yielded some truly beautiful custom homes.
I still do my own designing, framing and job supervision. Not because I have to, but because I still love the smell of sawdust in the morning. The only thing that's more exciting than starting a new home and watching your design become reality, is watching the excitement of a friend moving in.
I encourage you to stop and talk to any of my clients. Please ask them about my homes and my service. I may not have the flashy web site or the expensive trucks, but what I do have is a quality home that will last forever. Take a close look, I dare you.
